The Sailor Moon Movie is 60 minutes long. In Japan, it was twice as long (120 minutes). I would have like it to be as long as the Japanese version, but oh well. If you would like to know the plot of this story then read on......
SAILOR MOON R-THE MOVIE (The Promise of a rose)
SAilor Moon and her four Sailor Scouts (Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter) must save the planet and her best friend, Darien, from the most evil and dangerous creature in the universe; the bewitching and deadly, Kisenain blossom. She appears as a beautiful, tiny, flower, but looks can be decieving!
Kisenian, travelling from a far away galaxy disguised as a meteor, aims to gather all the 'positive' energy from earth and plant the seeds of 'negitivity' leaving Earth full of hatred. But she cannot do it on her own. Kisenien preys on the vulnerable heart of Darien's childhood friend, Fiore. Fiore, jealous of Sailor Moon and Darien's passionate friendship, joins Kisenian in her wicked endeavor to gather energy from every star and planet.
Without much energy left, the scouts end up finding their way home by using Sailor Moon's Crystal. After using the Moon crystal, Sailor Moon is deprived of all of her energy and passes out. On their was home (on a hunk of rock), Sailor Moon is revived thanks to Fione.Fione comes and gives Darien a flower with his (Fione's) life energy in it. Darien smells the necter from the flower and then kisses Sailor Moon which brings her back to life. THE END |
